Police Precept and Budget

The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, Alun Michael, has set the police budget for 2021-22 as £327.9 million

The police element of council tax has increased by 5.5% – 4p a day or a little under 30p a week. The total annual cost to a Band D household will be £287.72 per year for a 24 hour, seven days a week police service.
