Your Commissioner is responsible for bringing a public voice to policing in South Wales. Meeting people, talking to people, and listening, are all important in helping the Commissioner to understand policing and community safety issues concerning people across South Wales.
Hearing directly from people in the area enables the Commissioner to effectively hold South Wales Police to account on behalf of the public, ensuring the police provides an effective and efficient service.
Throughout the year, the Commissioner runs a number of community engagement activities, in order to provide people with the opportunity to share their views and feedback regarding local policing and community safety.
