‘Step into Sport’ is an innovative partnership project between Sport Cardiff, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and the South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner.

The project is designed to address youth offending through the transformative power of sport. The programme uses sport’s ability to foster social change, improve community engagement and help prevent crime and Anti-Social Behaviour. Participants are referred to bespoke 6-10-week programmes tailored to  their needs, offering sport such as boxing, mixed martial arts, and one-to-one personal training.

Recently, the project won the category award for Early Intervention, highlighting its exceptional contribution to reducing youth offending across Wales.

Congratulations!
