Community Walkabouts

Regular in-person visits to areas across South Wales are arranged through the Community Walkabouts programme. Walkabouts enable the Commissioner to visit different areas, which are often impacted by anti-social behaviour and crime and  have been highlighted in feedback from communities. They are an opportunity to engage directly and listen to people in the community and also see first-hand how services and initiatives funded by the Commissioner are making a positive difference.

Community Events

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s team attend a variety of public events throughout the year. These high footfall events provide excellent opportunities for us to raise awareness about the role of the Police and Crime Commissioner and enables us to engage with people of all ages.
