Main Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing a structured programme of scrutiny using four broad themes to hold the force and wider criminal justice partners to account. The role ensures an effective office-wide approach to scrutiny that supports the Commissioner deliver statutory responsibilities for effective oversight and public accountability. The role also leads on performance management arrangements, ensuring robust systems are in place to track and report progress against the five priorities set out in the Police, Crime and Justice Plan. This work ultimately supports transparent governance and drives continuous improvement in policing and community safety.
