Main Responsibilities

Megan led on the development of the South Wales Collaborative VAWG Action plan, which identifies deliverable actions under ‘Prepare, Protect, Pursue and Prevent’ headings, and drives forward delivery, working closely in partnership with essential stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships and shared vision.

She leads on policy development and oversees the VAWG budget, in order to progress ambitious, innovative and needs led service provision and responses for victims and children affected by VAWG, and has a particular interest in opportunities for behaviour change in perpetrators, with a focus on prevention and early intervention to address the root causes.

Megan supports the VAWDASV Blueprint on behalf of South Wales OPCC, ensuring a clear understanding of current climate and emerging issues in the VAWG space and will make cross cutting links with police and other OPCCs to ensure alignment when tackling VAWG.
