JOB TITLE: Assurance and Compliance Support Officer

GRADE: 6SO1 (£33,603 – £39,276)

BASED AT: Police Headquarters, Bridgend

REPORTING TO: Assurance and Compliance Senior Officer

HOURS: 37

TENURE: 12 months

VETTING: MV/SC

OPEN TO: 13^th September 2026 at 6pm.

An opportunity has arisen to support the work of the Assurance and Compliance Team.

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and experienced team member to join the team. The successful applicant will be required to work within a fast paced dynamic and busy environment.

The role will require someone who is organised, able to work independently, with a keen eye for detail.  You will need to be able to develop strong working relationships with others, internally and externally. You will be a team player who is self-motivated, able to develop and implement robust processes, with an understanding of working within set legislation and guidelines.
