Commissioner launches Children and Young Person’s consultation

Emma Wools, your Police and Crime Commissioner, has opened a Children and Young Person’s consultation to help create South Wales’s first Children & Young Persons Police and Crime Plan. This plan will set the priorities for policing in South Wales, with an emphasis on developing child and young person focused solutions.

The priorities in the plan will be designed with the use of direct feedback from the Children & Young People of South Wales.  This will help to ensure policing reflects the needs and views of our future generations.

We  welcome responses from anyone who lives and/or studies in South Wales, under the age of 25 directly, or as part of group responses facilitated by those working with children and young people.

Emma says: “I’m passionate about ensuring children and young people from across South Wales get involved to help shape the future of our Children & Young Persons Police and Crime Plan. We want your views, your experiences, and your voices to be central to this process.

This is your opportunity to shape your future! Getting involved and engaging with our plans ensures your voices shape the future of your communities and how I, as your Police and Crime Commissioner work for your best interests. This consultation, gives you the opportunity to set the priorities for policing, it puts you in the driving seat to make sure we’re delivering for you. Get involved, share your views and make our Children & Young Persons Police and Crime Plan truly reflect what you need and want it to be!”

The consultation will be open until Monday 2nd of December
