GRADE: PO3 £47,046.00 – £50,949.00 (pro-rata)
BASED AT: Police Headquarters, Bridgend
HOURS: 22 hours per week
TENURE: Fixed Term – until May 2028

An opportunity has arisen to join the South Wales Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), at a crucial time of considerable change. The Senior Policy Officer (Partnerships) will play a key role in the OPCC’s partnerships activity, which is critical to our multi-agency approach, ensuring effective partnerships are maintained as we move towards the end of the Commissioner’s term and a post-Police and Crime Commissioners model in 2028.
This is a key position within the Communities, Partnerships & Prevention Directorate in the OPCC for South Wales. Working closely with the wider team, the post holder will contribute to the partnerships-related workstreams of our transition programme whilst supporting existing delivery of partnerships activity across the Office.
This is a key position in the Communities, Partnerships & Prevention Directorate, requiring a dynamic, influential, team-player who can work systematically whilst adapting to change. The postholder will draw on their sector knowledge and partnerships skills to demonstrate impact at pace.
