Aim: Ensure that local Criminal Justice Services are efficient and effective at meeting the needs of victims and witnesses, deliver justice to those who commit crime and reducing reoffending.

• Drive system change through the development and delivery of strategy and policy improvements relating to criminal justice.
• Deliver robust governance and drive improvements in justice outcomes
• Working in partnership, taking a child first approach to minimising children’s contact with the Criminal Justice System
• Work with partnership to design and commission effective services and interventions aimed at early intervention and prevention and reducing reoffending
• Hold Policing to account through scrutiny and quality assurance
